the land

A real place this all lives one day.

founding vision — written before the land, so the land knows what it's for

This was made for the people the world forgot.

Every crack holds gold — and this is where that stops being a lyric and starts being dirt we can stand on.

what this is

A place. Not owned by one person, not sold in pieces, not something anyone can cash out of. Water, plants, nuts, fruit, fire — the things that were always enough, long before money existed to complicate them.

Our roots so deep, creating unbreakable ecosystems that we all crave, that we all deserve.

Letting nature rebeautify the cities. Working with the land, not against it. I envision earth growing in, around, and on all our homes — creating a better life for us, and for all the other beings we're so fortunate to share this home with.

We grow what feeds us — together. Nobody just shows up and takes; everybody brings something to plant. This is a place the chain — everyone who ever downloaded a track, made something real, got lifted, lifted someone else — actually leads to. Not a metaphor. A trail we build by walking it.

how it stays whole

This land is held in trust — never by a person, never split into percentages, never something that can quietly become someone's private asset, including mine. What can't be bought bigger is a voice: every Roots member gets one, equal, regardless of what they paid to get here.

Stewardship, not ownership. Whoever shows up brings what they have — a skill, a season of labor, an idea — and that's what earns a real say. Real hands in real dirt, built together, not handed down.

why it has to outlast me

This was created while my heart is broken. Honestly. I hope to create better until our hearts all healed.

I can't see a perfect path — I feel our spirit will do whatever it takes to make trails that our children will love.

If something happens to me, this doesn't stop. That's the whole point of building it this way instead of the easy way. The trust holds the land. The stewards keep it growing. The chain keeps finding people who need lifting. None of that requires me to still be here to keep being true.

what it isn't

Not an investment. Not a return. Not a way for anyone — including me — to get rich off land that was supposed to be for everyone. If it ever starts being that, it stopped being this.
