Not perfect — making beauty through the chaos.
I'm so far from perfect, and my surroundings tempt me to be worse. It makes me feel all the emotions on a day-to-day basis — hopefully mastering and using them wisely.
I wish I wasn't lied to so much. It sorta breaks me, because I see the place better and us better than what's portrayed. I'm not sure what to do besides shed all my light onto others until they see it that way too.
It's always been so much fun playing with our child-like spirit — not judging, just enjoying. Man, some of the simplest things have brought me the most joy in life. I really love playing with others, it just doesn't happen as much anymore — but maybe soon.
I'd assume you'd be most curious about my art and why I make it. Well, as a child not much made sense to me, leading to outbursts of frustration and not being able to communicate my true feelings very well — I didn't fully know how to use the words good enough, and they didn't know what I was talking about either. I guess my brain just functioned different, and that's okay.
I truly love myself, and others, and animals, and beautiful places and inventions. Can't imagine destroying any of the beauty. So not really having a way to express myself to folks besides paying people who could give a fuck about me, I made songs. That was my release — that's always been my healthiest way to envision life a certain way and sing about that, to bring comfort to myself and make it easier to get through hard days without self-destructing into normalized habits that seem to be quite detrimental.
Now that I've grown older, I realize others seem to have similar things that break their heart too. So I'm letting some of my songs go into our world, which is scary, but I love helping people. Many have done the same for me, and that shit's contagious.
I think the music I make should allow you to open emotions you've been suppressing for so long, and empower yourself again to be brave — to make positive change and spread love like a bee spreading pollen.
You are loved and protected, biddy — so do something great with your life. Shout out to the creator of all we are, fortunate for this challenge: to create beauty through the chaos.
